Teenager dies following collision at Stainton le Vale

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Stainton le Vale which resulted in the death of a 17-year-old.

They received a report of the collision in Caistor Road at around 10.34pm last night, June 3.

The 17-year-old was a backseat passenger in a Mercedes Benz which left the road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Mercedes, aged 19, and a male passenger, aged 18, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact us.”
