Teen's epic effort for disabled club
Charlotte Bailey, 13, of Ruskington is due to set off on her final run this morning (Wednesday) at 10am to raise over £500 for Sleaford Laffletics Club.
The St George’s Academy student and Sleaford Striders running club junior member has been doing a 10,000m run every day for nine days, the tenth and final one due to be completed this morning. She will have covered 60 miles.

Setting off and finishing from Sleaford Leisure Centre, apart from one day around Ruskington, a fellow member of the Sleaford Striders has run with her each day for support.
She comes from a running family. Both her parents are Striders members, Dawn is doing her first London Marathon this year and husband Ian has done seven.
Dawn said: “Charlotte’s challenge to herself was to do them all in under an hour. She has only run that distance three times before, as it is not always recommended for someone so young, but she is doing really well and has been getting quicker.”

Hide AdCharlotte seems to have boundless energy too, as her mum says she is always on the go. After her third run she went straight to St George’s Academy to do some athletics and discuss training.
Some of the Laffletics Club will be there to cheer her in.
