Wrangle has been holding a village show on-and-off since the late 1800s.
The show – in its current format – dates from 1978, though, when it was revived following the Queen’s Silver Jubilee celebrations the year before.
This year’s event included such fun as: a showcase of stunts and motorbike skills from Stannage International Stunt Team; aerial performances from Firefly; a birds of prey display from Fens Falconry; a flower show, featuring classes for vegetables, fruit, floral art, and even one for models based on Julia Donaldson characters; school sports; live music; the Boston Dancing Witches; classic cars and other vehicles from yesteryear; a dog show; a heavy horse show; and, new for 2026, Wrangle’s Got Talent.
Kimberley Lewis, Wrangle Show committee secretary, said: “We have had some fantastic feedback regarding this year’s show, with a lot saying it was the best one yet! It really was a jam-packed day!
“A big special thanks to all the volunteers on the show committee who put their own time, effort and expertise in making the show what it is!”
