Theatre 'over the moon' to present next installation

A theatre in Skegness is ‘over the moon’ to present its second out of this world exhibition after the success of Gaia during half-term.

Hundreds of people saw the giant Earth installation suspended from the ceiling of the Embassy Theatre.

The theatre will now be hosting Museum of the Moon by UK artist Luke Jerram from 24 February to 09 March 2023

Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface.

Viewing Sessions are Free of Charge (FOC). Tickets must be pre-booked by visiting embassytheatre.co.uk

Children under the age of 14 must hold a ticket and be accompanied by a responsible adult 18+

A number of workshops are also connected with this, starting with Greenman Gongs in Orbit on Thursday at 6pm – described as a stress busting and relaxation journey.
