There’s no beer but plenty of big hearts at the Kings Head

Owners of the Kings Head in Horncastle have painted a rainbow on the front of their pub to show support for the NHS - and to put a smile a few faces.

They have also set up a Just Giving page for donations to LIVES, a Horncastle based charity that is ‘close to our hearts’.

LIVES has over 700 highly trained and dedicated volunteers who often get to patients in the first critical moments of a medical emergency, before handing over to the ambulance service.

Kings Head landlady Joanne Buckland (pictured) said: “We can’t stage fundraising events so we would appreciate it if the Horncastle News can share our story to cheer people up and hopefully raise money for our wonderful LIVES team in Lincolnshire.”
