Singer and guitarist Kieran Campbell (18), bassist Oliver Blackwell (15) and drummer Michael Davies (16) are all from the Horncastle area, and are known as The Theory.

The punk band, inspired by artists such as Green Day, The Clash and Slipknot, are already half way through writing their debut album - due for release next spring - and a tour is in the pipeline for August.

Michael has only been in the band for a month, replacing the previous drummer, but the trio immediately gelled and have been going
from strength to strength.

The band have recently been snapped up by record label The Cheeky Seal, and they also received an email from BBC Introducing - heightening the possibility that they could soon be hitting the airwaves.

Kieran, who lives in Belchford, told the News: “We hope to play a gig in Louth as part of our tour next August, and we also hope to perform in places such as Sheffield and Manchester. We’ll do a few acoustic gigs soon too,
later this year.”
