Visitors were invited to bring along a picnic and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying live 1940s entertainment throughout the day, including a performance from 1940s singer Lady Lindy Sings and the 1940s Blitz Dancers.
There was also free face painting and traditional garden games as well as a selection of vintage vehicles on display along the central walkway, giving visitors the chance to take a closer look as part of the nostalgic event.
