Wolds Wildlife Park in appeal for funds

Andrew Riddel and Tracy Walters have been forced to abandon plans to open the park to the public because of Covid-19 restrictions.
Without income from visitors, they have seen revenue drastically reduced but food bills for the extensive collections of animals - including lions and bears - have continued.

“The passion and dedication has inspired the team at the park to continue working hard to care for all the animal, regardless of the situation affecting all of us, but it comes at a huge price of several thousand pounds every week.
“If you can help us with any amount, you will be helping to buy food and equipment, pay vet bills and our essential staff during the lockdown.”
Andrew and Tracy share a life-long passion for animals Their collection began in 2013 when Andrew gifted Tracy a young female zebra, Marty.
The couple secured a zoo licence last December and had exciting plans for this year but, as yet, don’t know when they will be able to re-open.
