“However, we still have to wait to hear the exact requirements of the ease of restrictions.

“We have a pretty good idea of what some of these precautions will be and have been working behind the scenes to get them in place but we still have work to do!

“We want to keep you all as safe as possible when you do return.

“Unfortunately, this means we are currently still not expecting to be open until July.

“We know you are all desperate to come back and we are desperate to have you back but the safety of our visitors, staff and animals comes first.

“We may begin taking bookings for experiences again before we open to the public but this is still dependent on the requirements of reopening so we will let you know more at a later date.

“If you would like to book one of our experiences follow the link here

“Either way this is excellent news and every one of you who signed petitions, wrote to MPs, submitted questions and generally kicked up a fuss about it played a huge part in saving many UK zoos! Thank you!”
