Yee-haw! Butlin’s brings new county music weekender to Skegness
Country music fans are being invited to dust off their cowboy boots and head to Skegness after Butlin's announced a brand-new country-themed Big Weekender.
The adults-only Giants of Country Tributes Weekend will make its debut at the Skegness resort from January 8 next year, promising three days of country classics, Southern-style singalongs and boot-scooting fun.
The new event comes as country music continues to enjoy a surge in popularity, fuelled by artists such as Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and Shania Twain, alongside the genre's growing presence in mainstream music.
Guests can expect a packed programme of entertainment celebrating some of the biggest names in country music, with tribute acts set to be announced in the coming months.

Alongside the live performances, visitors will be able to take part in a range of themed activities including Saddle Up Line Dancing, pool parties, silent discos and a host of daytime entertainment.
The three-night break starts from £49 per person and forms part of Butlin's growing Big Weekenders programme, which now offers more than 30 adults-only themed breaks each year.
The Skegness resort has become a major destination for live music events, attracting thousands of visitors with weekends dedicated to everything from 80s and 90s nostalgia to dance music and pop icons.
Other upcoming Big Weekenders include the Replay Weekender this September, featuring performances from B*Witched and Scouting For Girls, and 90s Reloaded in November, headlined by Peter Andre and Chesney Hawkes.
Every Big Weekender includes three nights of live entertainment, accommodation and access to a packed programme of activities throughout the resort.
With country music's popularity showing no signs of slowing down, organisers will be hoping the new event proves a hit with fans looking for a taste of Nashville on the Lincolnshire coast.
