The traditional Good Friday event saw members of various church congregations gather under the banner of Churches Together in Sleaford and District to set off from Station Road at 11am through the town along Southgate.

At the head of the procession a large wooden cross was symbollicaly carried, joined by church leaders, followed by around 150-200 churchgoers, who arrived at the Market Place at 11.20am for an open air service.

Traffic was held up by the police to allow the procession to move on unhindered.
