The St George’s Academy students are coming to the end of a two-year photography-based course taught by John Caslin and Carla Ferrier.

The Royal Photographic Society sets recognised standards throughout the world and has awarded a licentiateship and membership of the society to eight students on the course in recognition of their qualifications and reflecting the high standard of work that they have achieved. Mr Caslin said they are now entitled to use the letters LRPS after their name.

The students with their teachers are: Brad Chapman, Sinead Swift, Catherine Lett, Sophie Ellingworth, Bethany Wilshaw-Rhead, George Holman-Brown, Rebecca Allan-Jones and Charlie Russell.
