PICTURE GALLERY: All the fun of the seaside at Boston's Central Park

This year’s event is made of of 30 tonnes of sand and is double the size of the previous one which attracted more than 4,000 people.

It includes the traditional seaside attractions such as donkey rides and beach-related arts and crafts, plus bouncy castles, circus skills, games and competitions,

This year’s event is again funded by Boston Big Local and supported by Mayflower Housing, Boston Children’s Centre, Transported Arts and Boston United in the Community.

If you missed out today, the action will be returning tomorrow (Thursday), from 10am until 3pm.

The fun then continues on Friday with the latest Family Fun free event in the Market Place where people can have a go on a giant and exotic musical instrument.

The Lincoln Community Gamelan is a genuine Indonesian instrument and creates entrancing music.

It is a 20-piece percussive instrument and will be available from 10am-3pm.
