At the end of the afternoon, year 6 pupil Lilly Bell played a beautiful rendition of God Save Our Queen on her cornet.

There was a street party too at Grasby School, with teaching assistants making four cakes, with each class decorating them in a 90th birthday celebration theme.

A cloud burst flooded the street party at East Barkwith late on Saturday afternoon, but not before residents had enjoyed the delicious food and had plenty of fun, including a flypast by a model Lancaster Bomber with an 18ft wingspan supported by a Messerschmitt and a Spitfire, all made by Chris Wilson and friends.
