Families enjoyed some summer sun and seaside fun in Gainsborough at the weekend.

For the third year in a row, the Market Place was transformed into an artificial seaside, complete with sand, deckchairs and children’s rides.

The event was held on Saturday and Sunday and organised by West Lindsey District Council.

In addition to the regular Saturday market, visitors were also able to soak up a range of other attractions including seaside games, face painting, a bouncy castle, music and food and drink.
