If the proposals are given the green light by Bassetlaw District Council, the new fast food joint will be built on the existing car park of Tesco on Gateford Road.

“A drive through facility is not usually a destination use, but rather a temporary stop. In this case, the facility is situated next to in a logical location in close proximity to other retail units and major road networks.”

“Burger King is also a significant employer and would employ 40 members of staff, 20 full-time and 20 part-time. This is a very high employee intake compared to other commercial units.”
