GAINSBOROUGH residents are urged to stay safe and plan ahead for the Olympic Torch celebrations this month.

Police have warned of several road closures when the torch comes through Lincoln on 27th June, followed by Saxilby on 28th June. People are advised to check travel restrictions and take care of possessions in large crowds.
