Police appeal after car set on fire at Boston woods

Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly set fire to a black Audi 03 parked at Jenny's Wood, off West End Road, in Wyberton, last night (Sunday).

A force spokesman said the incident happened shortly before 5pm.

They said the man was described as wearing jeans and a white top and was carrying a bottle.

They added that he ran from the scene and the vehicle was completely destroyed.

The spokesman said: “It is thought there were several dog walkers in the vicinity and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the man.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 299 of November 13.
