Police appeal after OAP attacked

At 10.15pm on Saturday 25th August, an intruder demanded cash from the man then punched him to the ground.

He searched the property but left empty handed.

The victim was treated for bruising at Scunthorpe Hospital and later discharged.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.

The suspect is described as white, slim, in his 20s and between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall.

He had black hair, discoloured teeth and a small round nose. He was wearing dark clothes.
