POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a group of men asked children if they could take their photograph at the Canch on Friday 20th July.

It is understood a photograph of three children was taken around 3.30pm and the men then left the scene.

“The youngsters were not injured but were left shocked and confused by the incident,” he said.

“”We have made enquiries in the local area at the time of the report, and have since checked CCTV but the men have not been traced.”

He added: “Children should be aware of stranger danger. Anyone who has experienced a similar approach or has any information should contact Worksop Police on 101, extension 807 7145, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
