Police called out to reports a man on a mobility scooter had fallen in the river
Police officers responded to an incident in Boston on Friday after a man driving a mobility scooter reportedly fell into the river.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to a concern for safety after an elderly man was reported to have fallen in to a body of water near to Tesco at Westbridge Centre, in Wyberton Fen, Boston, at 7.25am on Friday 29th October.
“Police and ambulance crews attended, and the man needed medical treatment.
“Officers removed his mobility scooter from the water.”
