At the time in the photo in 1967 he was playing with moderately successful group Zoot Money and the Big Roll Band.

Zoot Money and the Big Roll Band had a hit with Big Time Operator, before changing their name to Dantalian’s Chariot.

According to Mike Barnes of Sleaford, Rod Stewart played at the Mabern Club around this time as well. Was anyone there?
