Police hunt driver who collided with cyclist

Police are trying to trace a driver who failed to stop after colliding with a cyclist in Sturton-by-Stow.

The cyclist, a man aged in his 50s, was knocked off his bike by a silver or dark grey car at the Tillbridge Lane junction with Saxilby Road.

The incident happened at around 4.15pm on July 27.

Police believe the vehicle stopped momentarily before leaving in the direction of Saxilby.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police added: “The victim did not sustain serious injuries, but we are appealing for witnesses to identify the driver of the vehicle.”
