Nottinghamshire Police officers are searching for Matthew Porter, 35, formerly of White Hart Lane, Boston, who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery on January 11, 2016, and released on police bail.

However, Porter then failed to answer bail and is now wanted.

Det Insp Jamie Hill said: “Porter is wanted in connection for a serious offence and it is extremely important we track him down.

“He has strong connections to the Boston area and we believe there will be someone in the town who knows of his whereabouts.

“If Matthew is reading this, we would strongly urge him to hand himself in as soon as possible as he is only succeeding in making matters more difficult for himself in the long run.”

The incident took place at Andrew Michaels Jewellers in Newark on January 6, 2016.
