Police warning after Lea burglaries

On Landsall Avenue a white panel van with a logo was stolen, and later recovered in Campbell Street, Gainsborough.

There was also an attempted burglary at a property off Gainsborough Road.

And a shed and garage were broken into off The Crescent, Lea.

If you saw anything suspicious that night, please call 101 quoting incident number 25 of 8th February.

Police are asking residents to be vigilant particularly during the hours of darkness, and to keep an eye on vulnerable premises which are empty or where elderly people live.
