Police warning over 101 number

Police are asking people in Lincolnshire not to call the non-emergency 101 number for Olympic Torch route and timing details.

The non-emergency number is experiencing a large number of calls on this issue which is potentially increasing the time it takes to answer calls relating to important day-to-day policing matters.
