Council wants your views forn its next corporate strategy document

Boston Borough Council is seeking the views of the community to shape its next Corporate Strategy – the document that sets out the Council’s aims and ambitions for the borough.

The strategy aims to identify areas where the Council will focus its efforts and resources to improve the Borough over the coming years.

A spokesperson for the council said: “ Our draft Strategy focuses on four priorities: People; Future prosperity and growth; Environmental awareness and accountability; and Delivering high quality services and maximising the use of technology to support residents.

Cllr Paul Skinner, leader of Boston Borough Council, said: “A key issue facing our residents and businesses is unquestionably around facilitating economic growth, whilst protecting the essential characteristics that make our borough our home and delivering high quality services and maximising the use of technology to support our residents.

“These priorities will help us to focus on providing facilities and growth that give us a strong and prosperous future.

“We would be grateful if our residents would take time to read this draft strategy and respond to the consultation, and by letting us know whether they feel there are any other priority areas we should be focusing our attention on.”
