West Lindsey council introduces contactless parking ticket machines
Paying for parking just got easier in West Lindsey, according to the district council.
The authority has announced that alongside cash, contactless card payments are now available at payments machines at all West Lindsey District Council owned car parks, giving customers more flexibility and choice when paying for parking in Gainsborough and Market Rasen.
Iwona Jablonska, the council’s Car Parking Management Officer, said: “I am delighted to announce that we now offer an additional payment method at our car parks through contactless card payments. I believe this is a great improvement for the town, giving customers more flexibility and choice in how they pay for parking.”
Customers can now pay using cash, contactless card or RingGo app payment.

The upgrade is part of the council’s recently approved Car Parking Strategy, which recommended ways to make parking more convenient and accessible.
Contactless card payments is an additional means of payment that allows everyone to choose the payment method that best suits their needs.
