Lincolnshire Police closed a section of the A15 by the viewing area so that the crowds could fill the road and enjoy the aircraft’s final goodbye.

The engine life of the 55-year-old aircraft, which was based at RAF Waddington for most of its 33 year service, is set to expire in Autumn 2015.

The Vulcan was also seen flying over Scarborough at the weekend as this video shows.
