Victoria Atkins MP said: “It was a pleasure to meet pupils at St Andrew’s CE Primary School and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar, Alford virtually to celebrate UK Parliament week. I was delighted to answer pupils’ questions on a range of subjects, such as Parliament, the role of an MP and different government policies.

“We also discussed what they have been up to in school and how we can improve our local area.

“It is great to see young people engaged in local and national matters and hear what Parliament means to them.”
