New warning signs against fly-tippers in North kesteven

The message says: ‘Warning. People have been successfully prosecuted for fly-tipping in this area’ in locations where illegal litterers have been caught.
The aim is to deter people as part of the council’s tough stance on fly-tipping which has resulted in the most prosecutions by any council in Lincolnshire in recent years.

Coun Richard Wright, Executive Board member, said flytipping costs taxpayers money for investigation and removal: “The message is simple: we will not tolerate fly-tipping and will carry out robust investigations and prosecutions against the perpetrators.”
