One week to go to nominate county’s good citizens for an award

Do you know special members of the community who freely give up their time to help others, without ever seeking payment or recognition for themselves?

If so, now is your chance to thank them for their outstanding voluntary work by nominating them for a prestigious award. The final date for entries is Friday April 24.

Once again, Lincolnshire County Council is inviting entries in four categories. These are:

○ Citizen of the Year - celebrating that special individual

○ Young Citizen - must be aged 18 or under

○ Community Group - comprising three or more people

○ Couple / Pair - recognising “dynamic duos”

The winners - chosen by a council judging panel - will all enjoy a VIP day out at the Lincolnshire Show, together with a guest. They will also receive a cash prize and a framed certificate.
