Road to be closed for pothole repairs planned for Walcott
Failing sections of the carriageway are to be repaired ahead of surface dressing, with works starting on Monday April 17.
To allow the improvements to be carried out safely, the road will be closed throughout the project, which is due to be completed on Thursday April 20.

Hide AdA diversion route will be signposted, directing traffic via the B1191, B1188, A153, B1189 and vice versa. Local access will be maintained, according to highways officials.
Mark Heaton, programme leader for surfacing and patching, said: “We’ll be permanently repairing every pothole along the stretch of the road that runs through the village.
“We’ll need to close this route to make sure the work can be carried out safely, so there will be some disruption.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and advise motorists to allow extra time for their journeys.”
