It is giving a chance for the public to see the sites proposed by local landowners and developers for residential and commercial development and sets out how the district will develop both in size and location, guiding the form, scale and type of future development up to 2036.

The new Local Plan and policies will be based on local feedback coupled with up to date evidence, much of which is available to view at www.southkesteven.gov.uk/evidencebase

As part of the preparation the council is seeking views until Friday August 5. The consultation document is available to view and respond to at www.southkesteven.gov.uk/sitesandsettlements. There will also be a number of consultation events across the district where people can drop in to view the document and have a discussion with officers, including July 27 at Billingborough Village Hall from 2-8pm.
