Youngsters treated to visit from fire crew

Members of the Little Explorers group recently welcomed a retained crew and an appliance from Kirton Fire Station.

The visit was organised by Martyn Taylor, a member of the crew who has family at the centre.

The Little Explorers had the chance to explore the fire engine, try on firefighters’ helmets and also see the appliance’s hoses in action.

Ann Ford, from the centre, said: “We would like to express our thanks to the whole of the crew who attended.”
