A Poppies on the Prom event is set to take place on Mablethorpe Promenade.
A Poppies on the Prom event in Mablethorpe is being set up for the first time to raise funds for the Mablethorpe and District Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

It is set to take place on Sunday, August 14 on Mablethorpe’s Central Promenade from 11am onwards.

There will be a craft market, 1940’s period singers, a Second World War exhibition, the 1228 Mablethorpe Air Cadets Marching Band and even an art competition, raffle and tombola, with lots of amazing prizes to be won.

Plus there will also be a tug of war competition, beach games and much more.

In addition to all of these fun festivities, there is also set to a Battle of Britain fly past.

So make sure you head over to the beach in Mablethorpe to support this local event and help to raise some funds for a good cause at the same time.
