Popular fair is a hit again

THE sun shone as visitors flocked to Thoresby Park for the annual Craft, Food and Gift fair at the weekend.

The Living Heritage show returned to Thoresby offering people of all ages the chance to try their hand at a range of unusual and exciting crafts.

Visitors had the chance to watch specialist demonstrations from bee keeping and stick makers to chainsaw carving and glass blowers.

They also had the opportunity to try their own hand at different crafts from making a pot on a wheel to picture painting and spoon carving. The event also featured the ever popular Food Hall where food and drink producers served up a range of tempting delights.

Living Heritage spokesman Marge Needham said they were delighted to host the craft, food and gift fair at Thoresby Park once again.

“We were very lucky with the weather – it was like coming out on a warm spring day,” she said.

“The show was very well received by visitors and we would like to thank everyone who came along to support the weekend.”
