Staff from the Options Recovery College, which is run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, will run four Wednesday lunchtime sessions at Café Indie on Scunthorpe High Street launching April 1 at 12.15pm.

RDaSH Mental Health Officer Sandra Jackson said: “Positive mental wellbeing means feeling good about yourself, and being able to get on with life the way you want.

“We all feel stressed or anxious from time to time, so these sessions will give advice and information on developing the skills to cope with life’s changes and challenges.”

The sessions will last between 30 and 45 minutes, and there is no need to book in advance. The first session deals with managing anxiety, and the following weeks will cover mindfulness, relaxation and motivation.

Sandra added: “Everyone is welcome, so if you’re out shopping, or on your lunch break and fancy popping along, please feel free to join us!”
