Produce on display at annual show in Ealand
Fabulous flower arrangements, brilliant beetroot and a veritable variety of vegetables were all on display at the annual produce show at Ealand Victory Hall.
Competition was fierce for the vast pieces of silverware up for grabs. Here we list a numbers of those who went home armed with a trophy for the best exhibits:

Floral arrangement - Mrs Norcup.
Pastry - Erica Fields.
Preserves - Gill Fields.
Arts and crafts - Margaret Seddon.

Most points in the show - Lee Pidd.
Junior section, most points - Olivia Arrand.
Organiser Ken Hather said: “Entries were down a little compared to other years but it was still a successful show.
“The weather turned reasonable after a wet start.”
