Proud history of tank development

A lecture and film show commemorating the first tank, which was designed and built in Lincoln, will be held in the town hall next Wednesday, April 6.

Lecturer, military historian and author Richard Pullen will be joined by Andrew Blow, a producer of historical DVDs to lead the evening.

Copies of the official DVD of the Lincoln Tank Memorial Committee will also be available to purchase on the night.

Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the heritage group chairman Victor Nash on 01673 858530, John Edwards on 01673 858542, Wragby Post Office and Pet Shop or the Newsagents in the Market Place.

The event starts at 7.30pm.

There will be refreshments available on the nigh, together with a raffle to raise funds for Wragby Heritage Group.
