Radio show to be live from the Glider
As part of BBC's Music Week, BBC Lincolnshire will broadcast Melvyn Prior's Morning Show live from Boston Gliderdrome next Thursday, February 4, 9am'“noon.
Anyone with memories of the ’60s and ’70s at the venue is invited to come along and recount their stories about the ‘Golden Days’ of pop.
The Sunday after, BBC Lincolnshire will broadcast a three-hour special about pop music in Lincolnshire, featuring people’s memories of the Bardney Pop festival, the Spalding pop shows of the ’60s at the old bulb auction and the Gliderdrome.
