Ranby House pupils are ‘feline fine’ with special Nativity production

Children at a Ranby pre-prep school wowed the audience with their performance of The Landlord’s Cat - a captivating version of the Nativity Story.

The annual Christmas production took place in the Performing Arts Centre at Worksop College Preparatory School, Ranby House.

Directed by staff from the Pre-Prep department the play was the 23rd performance for children of that age group.

Year 1-4 co-ordinator Michele Jackson said it was thoroughly enjoyable performance which was enjoyed by all.

“We chose this particular play because of its very lively and engaging, upbeat music,” she said.

“The children were very keen to learn the songs and took part in a drama workshop with a visiting theatre group called Blunderbus to gain valuable acting skills in preparation their roles.”

“ It was amazing to see how the children of different age groups all came together. Their individual costumes were kindly made by parents.”
