Ranby pupils’Christmas story

PRE-Prep pupils at Ranby House performed a fantastic Christmas producion of their Nativity play It’s A Party.

All the children from Nursery to Year 2 took part and dressed in stunning and colourful costumes.

The play followed the traditional storyline of the Christmas Nativity, with a little twist of the shepherds being cowboys.

Reception children made everyone laugh with their renditions of A Bumpy Journey and No Accommodation, while Year 1 pupils danced their way through There Were Shepherds and Hey Ho Away We Go.

The song In A Stable by Year 2 proved to be a tear-jerker with a solo verse from the Dove.

A school spokesman said the children only had four days to produce a fantastic performance for their loved ones.

“Those who had speaking parts were word perfect and all sang their hearts out to a packed audience of proud parents, grandparents, friends and staff who thoroughly enjoyed the sparkling and heart-warming production,” she said.
