Hide AdConway’s offences are alleged to have been committed over a period of five years between 1976 and 1981.
He was due to appear before Lincoln Crown Court in August to enter a plea and for case management, which was then adjourned to Friday 23rd September when the court heard how further reports into his health were required after he was admitted to hospital suffering with breathing difficulties
Mr James, defending, said: “The report from the doctor is much like my own experience of Mr Conway – he is somewhat bewildered by his experience today and he is not fit to plea.”
“His fitness to enter a plea and stand trial and his physical fragility are an issue.”
