RECENT NOSTALGIA: Burgh pupils' lesson in community awareness

Pupils at St Peter and St Paul's Primary School, in Burgh le Marsh, received a lesson in community awareness 10 years ago.

Children had been taking part in the Our Community programme, an initiative funded by the East Midlands Development Agency.

With help from the local neighbourhood policing team, pupils had explored how their community works and identified key issues and organisations within it.
