RECENT NOSTALGIA: New play equipment for Hawthorn Tree pupils
Children at Hawthorn Tree Primary School, in Boston, were enjoying some new play equipment in late January 2007.
After the pupils’ school council decided playtime needed improving, they garnered help from parents, who contributed Tesco sports vouchers, and the school’s friends’ association, which provided additional funding.
The new equipment proved a real hit with youngsters, The Standard reported.
