Mr Mann has urged Labour voters to join a “people’s revolution” by voting for Brexit, which he says will “give the power back to the people.”

Mr Mann told The Sun: “If you are a Labour voter you can proudly vote on Labour values to the leave the European Union.

“You are voting for fairness, you are voting for rights at work, you are voting for the NHS.

“And you are voting for a country that is not increasingly run by big businesses in co-operation with the European Commission.”

Mr Mann claimed “quite a number” of Labour MP’s feel the same way about leaving the EU but were “refusing to speak out.”
