Retford: Appeal for information on local trader
Nottinghamshire County Council Trading Standards are appealing for information from residents who have used a Retford trader who carries out guttering and roofing services.
Fred Newbury was given conditional bail on 8th August at Worksop Magistrates Court when it was heard that he had been claiming Trading Standards approval which he did not actually have. This sparked concerns over the quality of his work.
His bail conditions included not cold calling consumers at their homes and he is due back in court on 29th August.
