Retford artists exhibiting for first time

A new group of Retford-based artists will be exhibiting for the first time on Friday 31st May and Saturday 1st June as part of the Open Studios North Notts event.

The new Artempo Group consists of Carol Eason, Rose Elkington, Ann Everitt, Jenny King, Karoliina Nurmela, Joan Vickers, Jackie Whall, Michael Eason.

Their work on show of oil and watercolour paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, textiles and cards are for sale.

Carol and Jackie will run a free family drop-in workshop between 10am and 4pm on Friday, where people can learn more about painting insects, flowers as well as making a mono-print to colour and texture.

The following day Jenny and Karolina will be demonstrating watercolour techniques and drawing styles.
