Betty said: “I am so proud for the society to win an award when you consider the amount of hard work and commitment that the cast, musicians, backstage crew and front of house put into putting on a production.”

“I can honestly say that last year’s pantomime was worthy of such an award and I wish them all the success for this year’s too.”

Once again Kev has taken up the mantle of producing this year’s production, Peter Pan, which starts on 3rd December at the Little Theatre, Retford.

Kev added: “It was such fun putting the show together last year and all involved were fantastic.”

“I thought it would be difficult to match last year’s show, but rehearsals for Peter Pan the pantomime is proving to be so funny that the audiences are in for a real treat come show week.”

“With great characters such as Hook, Smee and Tinkerbell, I feel confident that the success will match, if not better, the last production.”
